Network Coverage
Star radio is the only Radio station in Malawi transmitting a total of 24,000 watts of RF power from three transmitting sites. This is enough power to go through a land mass of 400 km wide by 800 km long. The strategic location of these transmitters means that every home in Malawi from southern Mzimba all the way to the southern border of Nsanje has a clear reception of Star Radio and some of these areas only catch Star Radio. It is like going after a mosquito with a bomb, you will get the mosquito and everything else in its vicinity.
